Brooklynn’s Story

This is a dedication to the founder of Boston Baby Concierge and all she has accomplished. Without her drive and motivation to support families hundreds of families wouldn’t have received such excellent work in their times of need.

Why Start Boston Baby Concierge?

Brooklynn Besner got her start in the realm of newborns and postpartum care very young. Younger than even she herself recommends.

When Brooklynn was in high school, she was extremely fortunate that they offered a variety of courses including Home Economics & Early Childhood Education. Because of this she was recommended for a job to fill in for two weeks with a family looking for a nanny. They had two children. A boy in daycare and a two-week-old newborn girl. The mother had Postpartum Depression and needed support. With Brooklynn, even as young as she was, naturally they stopped looking for a nanny and kept her on for support.

She didn’t know it then, but this would launch her career to eventually develop her passion for newborns and a business to support life’s biggest changes.

The Person She Is

A woman with dark curly hair, glasses, and a colorful dress is sitting on a stone bench in a park, surrounded by trees and greenery, with buildings in the background.

While many know her for her job so many more know her for her kindness and generosity.

Brooklynn is well known in the Boston Nanny Scene and connects frequently to the Doula and Newborn Care Specialist Networks as well. Though don’t let the location fool you; she travels nationwide herself practicing what she preaches and providing comprehensive and elite style live-in newborn care to families booking her. Frequently, Brooklynn is booked for months at a time being desired as an industry recommended professional for her extensive knowledge and experience.

Most of all Brooklynn is known to create support groups and programs to support all childcare providers. Even being known as someone creating a Nonprofit to provide free community and support events focused on free activities for the community. It is her belief that community and support shouldn’t stop and without people to start these events they wouldn’t happen.

Overall, Brooklynn is a kindhearted loving person who just wants to be the best she can for those around her. She frequently states that she built her family brick by brick and state by state with her work and commitment. While considering many of those she has been fortunate to work with friends and family those close to her relate that her kindness knows no bounds.

The right to knowledge is something that Brooklynn truly believes in. With this being said she took extensive time to be able to understand each service and hop in at any time to ensure everyone receives the best care imaginable.

Childbirth Educator

With a strong head on her shoulders, she believed it best to practice what she preaches and learn as much as possible to provide extensive support. That is why Brooklynn not only received a training to be a doula; she got certified to an international level.

Certified Postpartum Doula

When learning how to support her clients’ daily needs she noticed how frequently lactation came into play. Then following the need of a single client, she got certified to support their needs immediately.

Brooklynn’s Training

While being an over achiever she included her certification for being a Birth Doula as well! She wanted to ensure that should her client require the service she can provide the most optimal support to cater to their needs.

Newborn Care Specialist

A Special Thank You by Brooklynn

I wouldn’t be where I am today without Jessica Rector.

(Jessica Rector is the owner of The Baby Boss & President of the Board of the Newborn Care Specialist Association 2026)

She mentored me to become the strong and smart provider I am today. Without her I would’ve continued to be undervalued for the work I provide. She coached me to be the person I am today and without her chaotic and loving commitment to me I would’ve never seen the potential she knew in a short phone call.

Thank you for helping me see what you knew after a short call and resume. Thank you for every commitment and coaching you’ve given me.

Thank you for being my friend.
